Investigate how teeth are related to diet in this interactive workshop.
Pupils will:
-use mirrors to look at their own teeth and consider how they use different types of teeth for eating
-handle, observe and compare a variety of animal skulls to identify different shapes of teeth
-use and develop their scientific knowledge to understand how the shape of teeth makes them useful for different purposes
-decide which dinosaur eats what, based on their own observations of dinosaur skulls
Learning themes: teeth and eating, using observations to draw conclusions, using scientific knowledge and understanding to explain observations, making comparisons and identifying associations.
