Architectures

(Sunday) (Sunday)

The excellent reputation of Swiss architecture rests not only on profound technical knowledge and inventive designers, but also on a deep-rooted concern for sustainable development. This exhibition uses thirty or so recent projects to demonstrate that Switzerland is home to inventive and visual architecture that also meets demanding ecological and economic requirements. The exhibition, produced by the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs, has already travelled around the world before coming to rest here, accompanied by a book overseen by Nathalie Herschdorfer. The excellent reputation of Swiss architecture rests not only on profound technical knowledge and inventive designers, but also on a deep-rooted concern for sustainable development.
