Art is freedom, I love the freedom & creative pleasure it brings to me, I hope my work brings the same pleasure to those who view it. I studied at Leonardo Da Vinci Academy of Art, and worked as a street artist in Montmart Paris in the Seventies.
On coming to London I chose to do different occupations. In May 2007 after a conversation with Kate Moss, I was inspired to return to art, it's from a meeting at Jazz After Dark, when Pete Doherty had a gig, that Kate encouraged me to resume painting.
She was impressed with my work & requested me to do her portrait, I was very honoured to be in her company and privileged that such a beautiful lady requested me to portray her. I also noticed that she has a keen interest in good art.
Since that initial portrait, I have been commissioned by several celebrities to do their oil portraits.
You don't have to be a celebrity to commission me - your portrait will be displayed on my website for all to see.
All my work is done with oil on canvas.
