The color Rose is somewhere about midway between true red andmagenta. Regularly confused with pink, it is certainly a color in its own right with many historical, social and cultural inferences. But, just as is the case with many other complex and worthwhile topics, Rose is something entirely different depending on who you ask. Rose (the flower) has over 100 species and each of these species has its own particular shade/color/tone. Aside from these colors there are numerous others, including Old Rose, Rose Taupe, French Rose, Persian Rose, Rose Bonbon and even China Rose, the last of which is a deep tone of red (close to maroon) which was named in 1926. All of these things are wonderful but in reality they haven’t a thing to do with what a girl thinks about when she thinks about a rose. She thinks about love, and music and the quiet forces that gently swing and move us where we need to go.
