The green lorry, rumbling through the city, barreling down narrow lanes, lurching and lunging through 36 point turns in one of another impossibly small cul-de-sacs, the alarm blaring its single note Doppler-twisted warning each time the gear box grinds into reverse. For us, down below, there is not much mystery or intrigue to the delivery lorry. Some instinct picked up while moving house or dropping off clothes at the Salvation Army tells us that whatever we might find within the four box-like corrugated steel walls of its hold is something so everyday, so unexceptional and mundane that speculation alone as to what it might be actually pains one with boredom. Imagine the shock and surprise when one learns that this little green lorry is not filled with the wonted, but the wanton. That instead of carrying unwanted mattresses, this lorry is carrying a group of sexually charged party people in need of a room and mattress of their own. We imagine you’ll never look at that boring green (or any other color) lorry the same way again.
