I just love you. Everything about you makes me feel like I’m napping in a warm cloud. It’s just total elation to see you wake-up, knowing that one of your first actions will be to let me out so I can finally piss. Then you’ll give me some dry disgusting food and the water that I’ve been dying for all night long. Then…you leave. There’s nothing worse than waiting here alone all day for you to come back. Sometimes I almost think you won’t. I fly into a panic at the thought of it. But, sure enough, every afternoon I hear that car engine. I hear cars go by all day but I know yours. I know you’ll strut in and not really acknowledge me for about fifteen minutes (it’s understandable I guess after such a long day). Soon enough we’ll replay our mornings routine and I’ll come inside to watch you watch TV and play with your phone for a couple of hours. You’re just so amazing and I can’t believe I ended up so lucky.
