I am in the steep, desperate, and irreversible never-never-land of transition. The old is all but totally destroyed and the new is nowhere in sight. There’s a freedom in that though: a non-committal, unsigned contract to roam and destroy or build as I’d like to. I appreciate this mode of being. It suits me well for now. It’s a lot like that brief time before you fall asleep where you’re neither coherent nor knocked out- just neck-deep afloat in a whirlpool of whateverness. I don’t harp to much about the past and I don’t fret a lot about the future. I don’t know what exactly it is that I’m clearing the way for, but I know someday I’ll be tearing that down as well.
