About
Galeria M has been active in the contemporary art market since 1997. Our first venue is located on the medieval street Stare Jatki. Since 2002, we have also been present in eighteenth-century guardhouse building on Świdnicka street – Odwach.
We represent artists, organize exhibitions, take part in art fairs in Poland and abroad, and publish. Our main goal is to promote the work of Polish artists and show a broad spectrum of visual arts: painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, glass and ceramic art.
In our collection we have works of over seventy artists. They are recognized artists, as Professor Leszek Rózga, XY ankamierzejewska, Krzysztof Skórczewski, Małgorzata Malwina Niespodziewana, Danka Jaworska, Mirek Antoniewicz and Stanislaw & Anna Wejman, and interesting young artists, who we support and promote – Monika Cichoń and Aleksandra Makowska.
Gallery M does individual and group exhibitions, also themed shows. For our artists, we also organize exhibitions outside the gallery, both in Poland and abroad, including the Museum of the City of Łódz, The City Museum of Wrocław, art galleries in Frankfurt, Munich and Starnberg, Germany. We are participating in art fairs: Art Fair Stockholm, Art Poznań, Warsaw Art Fair, RING Art Fair in Wrocław, and take part in big shows organized by the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. Every year, we participate in the European Night of Museums.
We publish visual materials to promote artists we represent – catalogs, cards, invitations, calendars – in 2000 we received a distinction in the National Calendars Review VIDICAL-Wilanów.
We carry out special editions of prints on demand, for example: Przemysław Tyszkiewicz for Auto-Bay and Galeria M & Mirek Antoniewicz for Volvo Poland and for DeLaval.
We run a range of activities for individuals and business: interior design, assistance in selecting art works, handling corporate events.
Galeria M is run by Maria & Marta Dziedziniewicz
