In 2008 Louise Alexander Gallery launched as one of the first contemporary spaces to inaugurate Promenade du Port within Aga Khan’s architectural vernacular resort of Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The gallery was designed by French architect Savin Couëlle, son of the infamous Jacques Couëlle, featuring over 170 sqm of exhibition space.
With a preeminent curated programme organising extensive solo and group exhibitions, not only in its own premises, but also in collaboration with international museums and art institutions.
The gallery shows mid career and internationally acknowledged artists from a wide range of mediums; kinetic, video, sculpture, paint and photography. Frederic Arnal has developed an intellectual client base that follows the gallery’s evolving number of artists around the globe.
Throughout the year the gallery also presents exhibitions through participation to a number of important international fairs and projects placing their artists works amongst the most respected collections and institutions.
