15a - Gallery & Sculpturegarden Exposition of non-figurative sculptures

The garden of approx 7000 m² is located in the nature reserve “het Grote Veld” on “de Achtkastelenroute” on the border of Lochem and Vorden. The modern design of the garden together with the abstract images in the ancient landscape seems contradictory. However, the choice of colour and shape of the plants and the way the sculptures are placed in the garden breathe an atmosphere of harmony and tranquillity. Passion for art and nature, where it is both for the gardener and the lover of abstract art a nice place to be.

 

By choosing only contemporary abstract and non-figurative sculptural art 15a differs from all known sculpture gardens and is therefore unique in the Netherlands. Of about 40 artists from home and abroad are exhibited works. The exhibition in 2014 has a completely new composition. New to 15a include Herbert Nouwens, Stephan Siebers (Cologne) and Ron van de Ven with works in steel and bronze. Exclusive to the Netherlands are the southern German Jörg Bach and the Berlin sculptor Hartmut Sy.

15a is open from the end of April to the middle of October, on Thu-Sun from 13 -17 hours.
