About my work
About work:
I create simple computer based images using some of the most simple programs like powerpoint and paint to reproduce as canvas prints.
I aim to create images that mean something to me as well as others. My is sometimes a reflection of me or a concept of what i see.
My style:
my style is a kind of digital collarge of shapes arranged in a way to make a bigger more complete image that i am trying to portray. I achieve shading and colour using basic options provided in the programs is use.
My concept :
My is trying to capture some element in the print that will make it unique i also try and make the image have feelling be it postive or not.
I work with these materials:
The materials i use are canvas ,high gsm print papers which are printed using a large format professional printer. The inks used in the printing process are uv based inks that have far greater durabillty than convensional home printing approx 80 years plus according to the manifacturer. The prinying process uses 12 inks to make up the individuel colours needed for each print. This produces clear images as well as deep colour.
What kind of materials I prefer:
Canvas is my prefered media to print on as the colour comes out when printed far clearer and with deeper colours.The use of canvas also gives more scope when mounting and frame prints.
What inspires me?:
Things i see or do. concepts inspired by watching others amd history.
Favorite work and why:
My favorite is called the sun and the rain fall.The print is of 2 people back to back one one sunny side coloured in grey and the other on the rainy side in gold both ignoring the situation they are in. i think its bacause i had just finished a relationship and it best somes up what happend.This print is featured in artworks
My message:
Art will broaden your mind and the way you look at things if you embrace it

How I got into art:
I looked at paintings and prints when i was younger as i grew older i found it necessay to express myself in some way or form .As i prefer to listen rather than speek my mind due to the fact i am quiet person its a good release
What art means to me:
The expression of the individual over the masses.

Jenny holzer not read it yet but get i keep picking it up and digesting little bit
What has changed in the world of art in recent years:
What i believe has changed in the world of art is the fact that people buy art for investment rather than enjoyment They look at how much it will be worth rather than taking enjoyment from what the artist is trying to convey to the viewer
